Our church is considering purchasing  church software to use as a data bank for our membership. What are your suggestions? Do you use something that you love? Have you tried something that was very poor. If you have any thoughts on this subject, I would really appreciate hearing them. Data entry will be a huge task so we need to make an  informed decision. I believe we have around 350 members .

Hi Holly O,

We have used Church Windows since 2006 and I love the membeship module that I use for everything from attendance and mailing lables to annual reports and even printing a report of voting members with just a couple of clicks. The support is phenominal and well worth it. Other modules can be purchased as well. We have one called Contributions which our Financial Secretary uses and one called Finance which our Treasurer uses. There is a module for the Pastor (ours chose not to use it) where they can track visits etc and if you do your own Payroll they have a module for that. It is pretty comprehensive and can be run from a server with multiple stations or a single computer. Good luck.
