Creator Fusion Service
This Sunday Pastor Dayle's vision and re-imagining was definitely appreciated, together with everyone else's efforts that contributed to the change in format.
This Sunday was Forest and connections were being made, the creative "Forest" project the children worked on (leaves for the art tree in front) was cool and fun to see. Pastor Dayle reminded us that the conversations the congregation had around 9/11 were sacred. It felt appropriate for the sharing of the small group I was in.
As a participant, the music definitely felt different. The instrumentation fell into place, and both the vocalists and instruments were pushing the spirit of the music in unexpected ways that delighted me.
The completed Creator Tee Shirt DVD was the icing on the cake and tied back into the service by using one of the new songs the congregation learned.
I wuld love to hear more about the picnic, festivties and the success of the car wash.

The picnic was great! The bouncy house was a big hit as usual and we even managed to exit the kids for a couple of minutes so the "older ladies" could have a turn jumping! Really fun. Marc barbecued hot dogs... there so many people we had to make a run to the store for more dogs. The kids made $300 at the car wash for NYG fund. I think it was a success. After worship in weeks coming up, we'll have discussions on how worshipers think it's going... what they like and don't like, etc. I got mostly positive feedback. Love the guitar, Gary!
