Generating lively WLLC soulcafe discussions

Hi All,

Trying this feature out for the first time--Just curious if members of the West Linn Lutheran group have ideas / suggestions for making soulcafe.org a fun and engaging center of conversation for us. I think this could be a GREAT tool related to our congregation listening season calls for wanting to build deeper relationships with each other and really get to know each other! Facebook is great too, but this is specific for our church family and I'm curious to see what it can do!

I like that we can spend time in discussion.  Let me get it started:  what will the future (next year, at least!) bring to the life of West Linn Lutheran?  What do we want it to bring?  I feel good about who we are as a community and hope that we can take our wonderful hospitality out of the doors to invite others into a relationship with our LORD.

I agree that we will benefit

I agree that we will benefit a lot by getting out there and inviting others to be a part of what we already know is a great community (a true church family!) at WLLC. Certainly takes initiative and effort, and a strong interest in building up and increasing our community, but the cool thing is that it doesn't cost anything ( or take much time ) to invite a friend to come and visit WLLC--so anyone can do it! 

I think that in the next year we really need to continue to encourage our youth to contribute their talent and energy to making WLLC a vibrant community that makes us known as a great place to be for other families in our community. Youth involvement and leadership opportunities are important!
