Healthy Leaders, Vital Congregations: Montana Synod Bishop's Convocation 2011

Montana Synod rostered leaders met in Convocation on November 11 in Lewistown, the geographic center of the state of Montana.  We discussed the strategic planning process currently going on in the Montana Synod, and brainstormed answers to the following questions:

Describe what is working now in the Montana Synod structure.  What isn't?

What changes need to be made so that we can develop the kind of leadership we need as a church in the future?

What changes need to be made so that the Synod can more effectively support and challenge congregations as centers for mission?

How do we make the shift from a vertical hierarchy to a horizontal network?
