How is the Spirit moving in the process of a new Bishop for Alaska?

Alaska will be electing a new Bishop in April. How do you see the Spirit leading in the process, and what are the concerns, needs etc. that you see the Alaska Synod will need to consider for the  future?

Spirit Moving

I have witnessed the HOly Sprit weaving all of the many hands, hearts and minds together as we are moving through this process.  It has been an amazing process to be apart of as the synod council members, Synodical Deans,  Interim-Bishop Don,  and churchwide support people have all been weaved together into one body for important decisions in this important time....this has been an awesome experience to date and I can hardly contain myself thinking about the Assembly and the important work we, as many,  will be doing....LET NO ONE WONDER....THE HOLY SPIRIT is alive, well and active in the many hearts  that make up this Synod!!!!l

We in Oregon are hopeful for you all as we watch the Spirit's work with you in te coming months. I'm currently in Chicago for a Conference of Bishops meeting and there is a lot of chatter about best practices for electing bishops and leadership in synods. We're all watching. Show us the way!!
