Small group resource pool
I'm looking for ideas on where to launch a resource pool for the continuation of small groups we've been fostering around food (Simply in Season). This would be a place specifically for the facilitators of the small groups to share ideas for anything from table grace, prayers, verses, movies, field trip ideas, etc. While Facebook has become the default location for anything like this, I'd like to move to something a little less cluttered (and commercial). Is soul cafe a good fit for such a group, or should I look to something else (like Table Project)? These small groups were not specifically ELCA either, as we were partnered with a UCC congragation. Does hosting this on a specific site create an exclusivity just by the sheer nature of the majority of the site activity?
Thoughts welcome from this group of 'bleeding edge' techies. :)

Small Group Resource Pool Considerations
There is certainly no exclusivity built into Soul Cafe. If facilitators want to add to the discussion, they simply create their own account and log in. I would not see that to be a major concern for the UCC, and Soul Cafe encourages anyone to become a member. As far as the "majority of site activity" concern, facilitators can individually choose whether or not to see that activity as members.
Soul Cafe is ideal for sharing. It will likely be the fact that it is not exclusive that will take some adjustment. The Soul Cafe is designed so that everyone can potentially view all posts in all groups. If there is are any posts that are best viewed only by a select group of people, then that should be a consideration when choosing whether Soul Cafe is the best tool for your facilitators to share those posts.
If I were you, I would set up the group in Soul Cafe and work through any "transparency" concerns.
Appreciate the question,
Gary.
