Brianna and Joe Iverson are a Luther Seminary couple, semi-newly weds and bicycling 4,000 miles across country from Astoria, Oregon on the Pacific Ocean side to Wells, Maine on the Atlantic Ocean side with a creative ministry playing music and telling stories at more than 40 Lutheran Churches.  They left on the 11th of June and on Monday, July 2nd the pair came to First Lutheran Church in Circle, Montana.  Their GPS told them that First Lutheran Church was located at the intersection of Avenue B and 5th Street.  After wandering around, they called the church office and I, Stan Hoobing who had been waiting for them, answered and told them the correct address.  They came to the church and then went to the parsonage to freshen up before 7:30 pm appearance.   They sang and share stories of their travels and their conquest of cancer and their faith.  Joe is a survivor of battle with brain cancer and Brianna's mother has survived a battle with cancer which has recently returned.  They partnered with American Cancer Society to raise funds to help individuals fight the disease and support for family members.   After a refreshing night, the pair with an additional rider began their way south on Oregon Highway 200 to Glendive where on Tuesday evening they presented their songs and stories.

Joe and Brianna are hoping to finish their tour by August 1st after 62 days on the road.   Joe will do a year of internship in a Lutheran congregation in Williston, North Dakota.   For more information contact them at Joe-briesCycle4aCause@hotmail. com  or read about their trip on www.cycle4acause.weebly.com
