Lenten Writer's Project

Ruth Hanley's picture

The Writing Group at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church is doing a project where we commit write on each of the 40 days of Lent. All are welcome to join us in writing about faith and life for 40 days. A writing prompt will be posted each morning and you can read the blog or be inspired to join the discussion and add your own insights and stories. Every person has their own special light to add to this project and all of your writing offerings are appreciated, whether poetry, prose, essay, thoughts, lists or comments and encouragement. Simply go to www.hslcwritinggroup.blogspot.com and there is a 'how to post' on the right-hand side. Happy writing!

Beyond Question Blog

Hi Ruth:  Great idea.  I'll look forward to it.

I'm doing something similar with a blog with video, daily devotions for the 40 days in the Lenten journey, and a cool song.

You can check it out at www.beyondquestionseries.blogspot.com

Looking forward to reading yours!

Here's a quick thing I just learned...you have a "Join this site" on your blog, but when people click on that, they don't get your daily email updates.  At least that's what I found.  If you go into the Design panel, and put in a "Gadget" to "Follow by Email" there, people then enter in their emails, and get an update each time you post new material.  I didn't know that, and just thought I'd share it with you in case that's what you're looking for.

Bloggest Blessings!
