ELCA Pub Talk

ELCA Pub Talk
What good is the Bible, anymore? Christians, let alone non-believers, read it less and less, increasingly they find it irrelevant to their lives today. Indeed, for all of the talk in public about the Bible, surveys show that there is far less reading of it in private.
In this group, we'll engage the question posed above. We'll hear from some believers who still find the Bible worth the read, from a scholar who thinks it is an overlooked classic, and from those who think it pointless. The conversation will be about hearing views, sharing perspectives, an occasion for everyone to learn from one another.
