Before returning to the

Before returning to the Lutheran church, our family was Eastern Orthodox for 10+ years.

In the Eastern Orthodox Christian tradition one moves through Lent with the disciplines of:  No meat, no eggs, no dairy, no olive oil, no wine, no sexual intimacy.  And Lenten Worship Services. 

Lately I enter Lent with the aim of being more present to my children.
Lord Jesus help me.
