Pub Talk for 20-30 somethings with Rob Kugler, Professor of Christian Studies at Lewis and Clark
Pub Talk for 20-30 somethings with Rob Kugler, Professor of Christian Studies at Lewis and Clark, 7:30pm Thursday, January 12th, 2012, at the Lucky Labrador, 915 SE Hawthorne
Event Description: What good is the Bible, anymore? Christians, let alone non-believers, read it less and less, increasingly they find it irrelevant to their lives today. Indeed, for all of the talk in public about the Bible, surveys show that there is far less reading of it in private.

With these as our guiding principles we hope to strengthen one another in our faith, but also take questions and challenges head on. Here is a place where we can openly share our concerns, our hopes, our strengths and our weaknesses. In so doing we hope to grow God's kingdom, one spirit at a time.

I'm going down to Ashland to catch a couple of plays. Has anyone else gone? Does anyone have recommendations -- fer or agin?
