Creative Ministry Fund Grant
Congregational Grant Application
The following information will help us determine whether to apply Creative Ministry Fund resources toward your project. Application deadline is April 1, 2012. When complete, please submit your application to the Oregon Synod Endowment Board.
New Beginnings--Development and Transformational Grants
This is basic information about how the large, multi-year grants from the Oregon Synod Endowment Fund are administered. The FAQ outlines the goals & management of the grants. The application is relatively simple and flexible, and the follow-up questionnaire is returned to the Synod Endowment Trustees 2x a year as a way to maintain accountability, a condition for continued support.
Creative Ministry Grant Application--2011 (for planning only)
The overriding goal of endowment is to connect funds to ministries: here is the application the OR Synod Endowment asked applicants to fill out in recent years when they wanted up to $1,000 for a "creative ministry" project. (What that means is defined in another document.) This form may help you if you are planning to apply for a grant in the future, or if your endowment team wants to standardize their application process.
Endowment Trustee Job description
This is the job description the synod endowment board developed a couple years ago for itself. If you are interested in working in this ministry at the synod level, this is what we ask from you. If you're trying to describe what you want from your congregational endowment team, this should give you a place to start.
Starting an Engaging Worship Discussion

What an opportunity it is to open a discussion here. There are already two members in this group who were central in changing my attitude about the depth and value of worship.
